Essay about:
Shakespeare vs. Dryden in Comedy Writing

Number of Pages: 5

Paper Abstract:

Styles of writing differed greatly between Dryden and Shakespeare. All for Love by Dryden was written during the Restoration, while Shakespeare's Antony and Cleopatra came from the Elizabethan. This paper argues that these cultural differences caused the comedy in the first to be natural and charming and that in the second to be more formal. This paper has five pages and only the primary sources are used.
